Deriving its name from Our Lady of Guadalupe, Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast was first established in 2003 by Mr. Alvin M. Carranza. It started as a Mexican inspired restaurant in Manila, specifically along Guadalupe, that later on reached as far as Tagaytay and Boracay. Today, Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast resides in Antipolo and has evolved into a homey hostel consisting of a restaurant and family KTV.

“We wanted to give guests just a chill vibe”, says Albright, son of Mr. Alvin Carranza, who now manages the place. When we got to sit down with him over some food in the hostel’s resto, he added that Cafe Lupe’s intention was to give guests that laidback feeling where they won’t even mind what clothes to wear when visiting.
Set on a combination of concrete and wooden interiors, Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast atmosphere is simply modern. With eight rooms, the place felt so intimate as if I was not staying in a hostel but in our home. If you actually have a slightly huge family or group outing, you can rent the entire place to yourselves.
All of the rooms of Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast are good for two persons (with an option of either a queen size bed or two single beds) except for one room with king size bed that can accommodate three guests. I stayed in Teen Azkals room having two single beds with my fellow blogger, Dianne of Curly Dianne.
There was nothing fancy in our room but I personally find it really neat and spacious enough for two. Even the small bathroom is very clean with basic toiletries and hot shower. Wi-fi is a bit problematic though with a poor connection.
For an affordable budget, Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast indeed offers a pleasant accommodations meeting the fundamental necessities of guests.
Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast Restaurant
Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast has a restaurant that combines traditional Filipino and Mexican food in their menu. Favorite Filipino breakfast like Tosilog and Tapsilog is being served all day.
If you want to try some of their dishes, their menu is affordable, too. From some of the dishes we’ve tried, I like their Grilled Liempo, Kadyos, and Pork Sisig. I also recommend their Nachos Muchos especially if you’re availing their family KTV.
Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast also has a cozy bar where you can have some beer or cocktails. Whether day or night, you will enjoy the view of Manila skyline from the restaurant.
Live Band and Family KTV
Yes, you read that right! Cafe Lupe Bed and Breakfast offers family KTV! Aside from chilling at the restaurant’s bar, you can spend the rest of the night singing and partying with your group. You can even have your food ordered at the restaurant served in the KTV room.
Aside from the family KTV, a live band also performs at the al fresco eating area. Just imagine dining while being lighted by the moon and the stars and being serenaded by good music!

Lovely place; though wifi seems to be a bit broken, I’d spend my time in peace without it:) They seem to have taken care of all the amenities… I’m glad you had fun!
The rooms seem basic bun comfy and the food delicious. I would love to try out that breakfast, yummy. The night view is lovely as well, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine there before going to bed.
I’ve heard a lot about Cafe Lupe but only as a cafe. I didn’t know they have stays there! But I would love to try it too because it’s near Manila! Thanks for the idea 🙂

This place has it all! If my home was close to this bar, I would be so here every night. It has the three things I enjoy the most. good food, good beer, and good music.

Hi, Arrianne. Cafe Lupo B&B seems like a nice place to stay at. One downside for me is the KTV. I like it quiet. So hopefully, when I sit on the outdoor tables and chairs, WHICH I LIKE VERY MUCH, I wouldn’t hear anyone singing. Hotel room is very basic and looks clean. I can also say the same thing about the food too. Hope the prices matches the value of their quality of service.
The place is nice! I’ll suggest this next time if my friends and I decide to have a one day getaway.

Café lupe looks good in the day. Its looking much better even at night. Very cosy and it looks like a great place to meet With friends. Or stay With family!
I like places that are comfortable and places that can be great for a getaway weekend. It looks quite cosy though maybe a little too simple. When the lights come on in the evening however it looks very lovely. Of course with the Manila skyline who can complain?

I’ve been intrigued with Cafe Lupe for years now. But I have tried it until now. I’m glad that they have this place in Antipolo now. I wonder if it would be ok to bring my small kids to this place for an overnight stay.

This is one place i would love to visit soonest, and with of course my family. They will surely enjoy the food. The KTV would be something, I believe, they would all love as they truly enjoy singing. Love the ambiance, specially the rooms.
It looks like a good place to stay in and spend some time. However the serving of the tocino looks inept for the meal. However, it’s an affordable place to have a staycation for a short while or a stopover for travelling.
Oops , first I thought , well I didn’t know what to think when I saw the first images . It looked very basic at first sight. But as I was going on , the pictures were getting more and more appealing . The rooms are really nice and tidy , and the food looks delicious . Seems to be a nice place all together !

Wow, this is a lovely expansion from Cafe Lupe. This will be worth a visit to the east. They used to have this branch at Guadalupe and I used to pass by it to and from work everyday but never got the chance to actually go and visit. Hopefully, I can check this one out with my boys soon.
