Only two-hour drive from Manila, Pansol in Calamba Laguna is a famous destination for private hot spring resorts promising a soothing getaway. Really a must-try weekend treat, we spent one, fun night at Pansol’s Royal Elizabeth.
Privacy is the first thing I loved about staying at Royal Elizabeth. It added tons of relaxation weight offered by their warm pool. Owning the whole place for a night, we had the privilege of doing whatever we wanted to do – swimming, singing, cooking, playing games and laughing out loud.
Royal Elizabeth has two pools. The bigger pool’s water is therapeutically warm and the other one is cold. Both are very clean.
Aside from swimming, we enjoyed unlimited singing with their karaoke machine located in their multi-purpose hall which is just beside the pool. The hall has tables and chairs, spacious enough for 25 people. You can organize activities in the hall like games. They also have billiards but it is placed in the second floor.
Royal Elizabeth has four air-conditioned rooms that can comfortably accommodate four people. Each room has one bed and one extra mattress. Though the room space can lodge 5 – 7 people, the size of their bed and extra mattress is spacious enough for two people each. Each room has flat screen TV and bathroom. Both the room and the bathroom are very clean. You just have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Also, they don’t provide blankets, only pillows.
A kitchen area is also provided that included free LPG gas, use of stove and refrigerator. It also has a grill area. We brought with us food and drinks and other cooking and eating utensils we needed like knives and plates.
The place also has parking space for a maximum of five cars.
Our group (11 pax) paid PHP 18,000 for our 20-hour stay with the use of their four rooms. Estimated contribution per person is around PHP 2,000K – 2,500K which includes transportation and food. Some might find the place a little pricey. But the good thing about Royal Elizabeth is its very cozy atmosphere and its very clean and well-maintained facilities.
