Screaming at the top of my lungs while hanging in a suspended harness, I broke nature’s silence as I slide on that seemingly endless cable. Yes, it was my first time to try zipline and Treetop Adventure’s Superman ride gave me one of the most exhilarating moments in my life.
Tree Top Adventure
Tree Top Adventure is one of the famous destinations in Subic Bay offering exciting rides that will raise your thrill barometer to the next level. The surrounding nature makes Tree Top Adventure more interesting for me compared to the conventional themed parks I’ve been too. The breathtaking views I get to see from the rides I tried really made my experience more memorable.
The feeling of screaming to the infinite wilderness is so therapeutic for me – it was like releasing all the negativities and stress in a place where no one will judge me. Nature comforts me so much like it will never get tired of listening to me.
Tree Top Adventure Rides
I was able to try Superman Ride and Interactive Free Fall in Tree Top Adventure, Subic Bay. I was accompanied by one of Tree Top Adventure’s Head Facilitator from Baguio (thank you, Jace 🙂 ).
Superman Ride
You can have the option to go alone or to go with another rider when taking the Superman ride. Tree Top Adventure calls their version of zipline “Superman” because you will traverse the cable in a position that will make you look like Superman in his flying position.
Hanging 70 feet high above the ground, I was really nervous I almost never stopped screaming during my entire ride. But I enjoyed it so much I’ll do it again if I have the chance to.
P.S. According to the ride facilitator, guests who scream so loud get another free ride. I didn’t know he meant it but I did a pretty good job so I got one! Haha.
Interactive Free Fall
The other ride I was able to try was Interactive Free Fall. This is also a challenge for those who have fear of heights! After getting into the platform, the ride slowly started to ascend bringing us as high as 100 feet from the ground (if I remember it right).
Once at the top, the ride will suddenly go down as if you’re falling from a building in a standing position. We went up and down several times that lasted a few minutes. The view at the top is fantastic!

Insider Tips
- Tree Drop is claimed to be the most extreme ride.
- For a cheaper ride, avail the outdoor package instead of getting the individual rides (click here for Tree Top Adventure packages).
- Children are allowed in all of the rides but must be at least 4 feet tall to fit into the harness.

The place looks awesome but for a person with fear of heights like me, I think I’d die at the middle of the ride. Lol. Specially the Interactive Free Fall. Just thinking about it makes my stomach churn. Also, I think I’ll get a free ride too. I’ll go screaming like crazy IF I’ll have the guts to try it out. HAHAHA
I feel you! I’m not that fearful of heights but I’m just paranoid at times. Hehe. But the entire experience was super fun. Hope you can try it one day 🙂
We’ve been to Subic a few times and still haven’t tried those extreme adventures.. I always wanted to, but my company doesn’t feel like it! They are all scared, its boring naman kung mag isa lang ako.. hehehe! I hope next time i can try it with traveler friends! 🙂

I don’t like heights and speed, so I will admire and appreciate your adventure. LOL! That was zip line right – the Superman ride? Good for adventurous people.
The Tree Top Adventure is actually on my bucket list. But we will have to do it when the kids are bigger already. Our toddler is still very challenging to bring around. hehe
I am scared of heights, but I was able to experience zip line back in high school. Yes, that was XX years ago. I’m not sure if I’ll still be able to have the courage to, but I’d love to experience this again! Maybe in a few years when the little one is bigger. 🙂

It was pretty scary. I tried the Silver Surfer ride and fainted. It was that bad for me. I guess I can never do this whole adventurous thing.
i have seen this on the telly and it looks like the kind of activity i can enjoy. i hope i can try it out soon.
